That's all we do. Since we established Rentschler / Tursi on the Peninsula in 1996, we have devoted our practice exclusively to the issues our clients face in their leasing, acquisition, ownership, and business involving commercial real property. Rentschler/Tursi has distinguished itself by merging decades of experience in both real estate litigation and transactions with a commitment to providing high quality legal services and personal attention to our clients.


Our clients include tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers of commercial real estate; real estate agents and brokers; owners, appraisers, and managers. We assist our clients in sales and leasing transactions and in selecting and forming the ownership entity that best suits our client's needs. We help our brokerage and property management clients to comply with real estate laws and regulations, and counsel them so they can better serve their clients and stay out of trouble. When disputes arise, we represent parties in arbitration, mediation, and litigation involving real estate, broker and appraiser defense, and commercial unlawful detainer.

We understand commercial real estate transactions from the lawyer's, the broker's and the principal's perspectives, so we can provide versatile and knowledgeable assistance through all phases of a transaction. We also understand the many risks and disputes that arise around real estate, and we apply that knowledge both to protect our clients from making the same mistakes, and to resolve disputes that may arise in the most time- and cost-effective manner.

Because we're small, our clients get our personal attention. We won't assign multiple associates doing the same thing just to generate billable hours, and your matter won't fall through the cracks.
